About Three Brothers Wineries & Estates

Three Brothers Wineries and Estates bills itself as the ultimate New York State tasting experience: three distinct wineries, a microbrewery, and a cafe gathered on a single estate overlooking Seneca Lake, just south of Geneva in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Dave and Luanne Mansfield purchased the former Nagy's Newland Vineyard property in 2006 and opened the first tasting rooms in 2007, creating what the estate describes as the first multi-winery campus of its kind in the United States; Erica Paolicelli (2014) and Justin Paolicelli (2018) later joined as partners, and the property has grown into one of the most visited craft beverage destinations in the region.

Each building has its own personality. Stony Lonesome Wine Cellars is the classic, scenic cornerstone, pouring dry, certified-sustainable estate wines - award-winning dry Rieslings, estate-grown Chardonnay, and a bold bourbon-barrel-aged Barbera - with views over Seneca Lake. Passion Feet Wine Barn is a boutique-style room honoring bold, brazen, and brilliant women, with semi-sweet to sweet wines and famous house-made wine slushies. Bagg Dare Wine Co., a bayou-themed tasting room at the end of an old dirt path, leans fully into sweet wines and irreverent humor and is often called the most photographed winery in the Finger Lakes. War Horse Brewing Co. is a WWII-themed brewery and cidery honoring those who serve, home to Lieutenant Dan IPA, Bombshell Hard Cider, and Iron Heart Craft Soda.

The estate farms 40 acres of primarily vinifera grapes - including Riesling, Chardonnay, Gruner Veltliner, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Valvin Muscat, Chambourcin, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Zweigelt, and Barbera - and was among the first New York State vineyards certified sustainable by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation. Wine, beer, cider, and soda are all produced on site. Tastings are walk-in only, all ages are welcome on the grounds, and visitors can fuel up at the on-site Iron Heart Coffee Co. & Eatery or even stay overnight in the estate's vineyard cottage.
